The Imperial Milk Glass book by Myrna & Bob Garrison. Their first Milk Glass book was good - but this one excels. The picture of the front cover is to the left and the rear cover is shown below. I enjoyed reading and looking at almost every page of this book and I don't collect Milk Glass. I do collect Ruby Slag - which starts out as milk glass - and I recognized many milk glass items that are Rare Slag Glass items today. It is a real treat to look at over 700 pictures of Imperial glass - 225 are in color. Mold numbers, descriptions, production dates, and values are shown for all pieces circa 1930's through 1984. This is invaluable information for any Elegant Glass Collector and a "must have" for any collector of Imperial Glass. It is hard to describe the visual appeal of this book when it is equally at home as a major Imperial Glass research manual - the Garrisons have made it happen! |
